Lightweight and durable

5 stars rating (5/5)

I like the minimalistic approach north face took on this jacket. Everything from buckles to straps is trimmed down saving you good chunk of weight, yet it feels pretty durable. There isn't much beef in the back of the harness, but this was not designed to carry 50 pounds of wight either. There is a good amount of ventilation happening when I wear the backpack and the storage volume is decent. North Face is not really known for packs I think, but in my opininon this one is every bit as good as the Ospreys and Gregorys out there.
