The Dronning Maud by Dale of Norway is made for active sports and leisure wear. The sweater is lined with Dale Polarwind highly breathable lining that is windproof and is also treated with Teflon making the sweater water and snow repellent. It's a high-necked sweater with zipper, drawstring, canvas reinforcement on the elbows and forearms, double pockets on the right side and with a hanger for lift-pass. Dronning Maud is a comfortable mix of 58% cotton and 29% Polyamid, and 13% Polyurethane which is combined with water resistance that is highly breathable. An expedition to the South Pole and the Queen Mauds Land is what inspired Dale to making such an action prone sweater, ice and snow being the base in the design. Since no two snowflakes are identical, there are two different versions. The Pole point is symbolized with a circle with a cross, whereas the lines above the main pattern represent the snow. The skis symbolize the expedition on their way to the Pole point, and you can see the ice-taps of the shoulders and sleeve.
